The Port of Rotterdam Expansion project, known as Maasvlakte 2, is one of Europe’s largest land reclamation projects. The expansion aims to increase the port’s capacity by adding 2,000 hectares of new port and industrial facilities, accommodating the world’s largest ships and boosting trade efficiency.
